What we did
The Cornell School of Hotel Administration (SHA) knew exactly what they wanted out of a new website. Their priorities were to better represent their brand through the website, provide a more engaging user experience for prospective students that would result in an increase in enrollment, and communicate the student experience in a visually beautiful website that makes them stand out against their competition.
To fulfill their vision for the website redesign, the project included stakeholder meetings and both competitor and analytics reviews that informed the site’s design and development.
- Brand Expression – Communicate the brand story through photography featuring the campus community that sparks an emotional connection.
- Content Strategy – Highlight the student experience through student profiles that articulate all of the opportunities available to students including classroom learning, unique experiences, and outcomes.
- Responsive Design – Optimize the user experience for visitors on any device with a responsive design that upholds the integrity of the visual and readable content at any size.
In addition to their website relaunch, the School of Hotel Administration is engaging in a full marketing strategy with viewbook, fliers, email newsletters, landing pages, and a blog.
The College University School of Hotel Administration website was a 2016 MITX Awards Finalist in the Education category.
