With a decade of experience in higher education and an extensive background in digital communications and content strategy, Georgy works with clients to ensure their websites are on message and their editors are on task.
For as long as she can remember, Georgy has always been obsessed with words and stories. As associate creative director for digital strategy at OHO, Georgy has found the perfect outlet for that passion by working with clients to bring a clarity of purpose, messaging, and process to their website projects. She spends her days wrangling content audits, writing copy, and drafting content guidelines, working in close collaboration with our design, development, and UX teams.
After getting a journalism degree and starting her career in the fast-paced online newsroom of The Boston Globe and Boston.com, Georgy directed her nerdiness toward higher education, where she worked in digital communications for a decade. She held roles at Tufts University and Suffolk University, in addition to running her own independent higher ed consultancy, Crosstown Digital Communications. In 2011, Georgy co-founded Meet Content, a blog and resource about content strategy in higher education. She speaks frequently, receiving Best of Conference honors at HighEdWeb 2011 and delivering the keynote addresses at HighEdWeb Pittsburgh 2014 and HighEdWeb Arkansas 2011.
Outside of OHO, Georgy is a fangirl of public transit, year-round iced coffee, and the city of Somerville, where she lives with her husband, young daughter, and two cats. She also has some really great music recommendations for you.
