What we did
In an effort to support recruitment and sales efforts for study abroad trips, CIEE, a leader in study abroad programs, sought to develop new digital campaigns. Using data gathered through a series of workshops, we rolled out a sweepstakes based on study abroad personalities in an effort to attract prospects.
Entrants were invited to select from one of four prize packages and winners were selected every two weeks. Students who completed entry forms were enrolled in a drip marketing campaign. The sweepstakes was promoted through retargeting ads, Facebook ads, and posts to various social media networks.
The sweepstakes campaign proved successful in increasing lead flow by 60%, allowing CIEE to immediately impact the number of booked study abroad trips for the following quarter.
