Lesley University Launches New Site Developed by OHO Interactive

Lesley University in Cambridge, MA launched the first phase of a new website that is aimed at providing a better experience for prospective students. Both undergraduate and graduate students today have a wealth of educational choices available.

Lesley engaged OHO Interactive  to turn their website into a strategic tool that would empower prospective students with the best information available on the value of a Lesley education. 

To develop the online strategy for the website OHO and Lesley worked together on an a broad full-service engagement that included:

  • Stakeholder interviews including academic departments, admissions, and development
  • Faculty forums to refine needs and communicate progress
  • Focus groups with prospective students
  • An Alumni survey to understand Lesley's value and impact
  • New interface designs and navigation
  • Integration with existing web applications
  • Video production
  • Google maps integration
  • Virtual tour

The research highlighted a need for increased use of visuals to create a sense of place. OHO recommended and delivered:

The second phase of the project will launch later this fall and will include an improved browsing experience for graduate programs allowing prospective students to easily compare degree programs. This phase will also include a Google maps integration to visualize the national programs that Lesley offers across the United States.

The project was initiated by the University President and OHO worked with the Vice President of Enrollment, Director of Marketing, and the internal Lesley web development team to deliver the student centric experience.
