Barry is no stranger to the entrepreneurial environments and growing web-related businesses. Over the past 20+ years, he has helped to put startups to Fortune 500 companies to get traction with new products and services in the marketplace. He has a knack for identifying opportunities, mapping out strategies, inspiring teams to perform, and executing on plans. As VP of Business Development, he sets the business development strategy for the firm.
Prior to OHO, Barry played key roles at a few MIT-based software companies, including Scalable Display, where he was an active investor and helped to secure critical funding, and Nexaweb Technologies, where he was VP of Sales and was foundational in helping the company grow to be a successful international Rich Internet Application player. Earlier, he founded the pro services firm Insight Consulting which was acquired by XL Connect, helped grow it through a successful IPO, and managed sales and business development for the NE region after the acquisition by Xerox.
He holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Business Management from Boston University.
When he’s not “moving the needle” for the business, he still rocks out on the guitar and dabbles in the visual arts.
