Web Developer / Software Engineer
Application developers and software engineers are deeply involved in the technical design and development of web sites, applications, and apps. You'll work hand-in-hand with designers, consultants, and project managers to build innovative systems and great online experiences.
This is a hands-on software development position that also includes opportunities for system design, architecture, and technical team leadership. Personal growth is very important at OHO, and in this role, you’ll have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of platforms and technologies, and learning new skills. A significant percentage of our web development practice centers around the integration of Drupal with enterprise backend database and other systems to solve business problems in marketing, usability, data integration, and workflow management. If building advanced systems on top of open-source technologies has always interested you, this opportunity will allow you to explore these systems while working on award-winning, high-visibility projects for top global brands.

The successful candidate will have the following skills, abilities and/or qualifications:
• Hunger to learn and apply new technologies

• Experience with software engineering best practices
When applying, please be prepared to demonstrate your experience with a wide range of web technologies, such as:
• Scripting languages like Ruby and PHP are highly desirable, also Perl, Python, JSP, XSLT, XQuery, or ASP
• N-tier web architectures, web services, and MVC techniques
• Programming languages including Java, C++, C#
• Databases including MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
• Web technology standards including XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery and prototype) and XML
• A computer science degree is preferred
• Experience with Hobo is a plus
