Web Developer / Interactive Producer / Front-end

Web developers take designs and bring them to life as web sites, applications, and apps. They keep on the cutting edge of new platforms and technologies, and look for ways to immediately turn that knowledge into solid, practical solutions for their clients. As a front-end web developer at OHO, you'll work hand-in-hand with designers, consultants, and engineers to build innovative systems and great online experiences. You’ll also learn new technologies and grow your skillset while working on some amazing creative projects--many of which have won industry awards-- and global brands.

This is a hands-on internet development position that includes opportunities for growth in both usability and back-end development. If you’re looking to hone your skills in Drupal and learn this rapidly-growing industry-standard platform, you’ll have that opportunity—and be able to put those skills to use on high-visibility sites.
What you need to have, right off the bat, are experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other presentation layer technologies. You’ll also need to have an interdisciplinary mindset, with a great commitment to teamwork: we are looking for someone who can join our team of front-end developers and the larger development team to bridge the gap between design and back-end development.

The successful candidate will have the following skills, abilities and/or qualifications:
• Hunger to learn and apply new technologies
• Devotion to quality execution
• Interest in learning Drupal development, and a strong interest in open-source
• Experience with software engineering best practices
When applying, please be prepared to demonstrate your experience with a wide range of web technologies, such as:
• Web technology standards including XHTML, CSS, and XML
• JavaScript, including popular libraries like jQuery, prototype, dojo, etc.
• Exposure to scripting languages like Ruby and PHP is a plus, also Perl, Python, JSP, XSLT, XQuery, or ASP
• Experience with Drupal theming is a plus
